System update – September 2016

21 September 2016

We have just released some enhancements to Today’s Plan and want to share these changes with you.

In summary they are:

  • Adjusted Power displayed on the Ride Graph
  • Improved FitBit integration
  • Simplified time zone operation
  • SMO2 support for ‘FIT 2.0’ files
  • Improvements to enhanced files search

Adjusted Power displayed on the ‘Ride Graph’

You can now view a rider’s adjusted power on the ride graph. You can view the summary of this in the intervals table below the graph as well as how it tracked throughout the course of the activity on the ride graph.

Improved Fitbit integration

Fitbit users can now view sleep and other metrics in their recent ride lists on the dashboard, as well as in the quick file search. Current users who already have the Fitbit connection setup should go to ‘My connections’ tab and re-pair their Fitbit account with Today’s Plan. We will have additional wearable integration and features in the near future.

Improved time zone support

When planning, scheduling and moving workouts around the calendar they will now automatically default to the time zone that is displayed in the top left corner of the calendar regardless of your time zone account settings. This is the same for moving/copying workouts in the calendar; at the time of moving copying a workout the time zone will default to what is displayed in the top left corner of the screen.

SMO2 support in the ‘FIT 2.0’ files format

Today’s Plan now supports SMO2 data directly from the files for users running current model Garmin cycle computers producing “FIT 2.0” files.

Customise power meter offsets between your different power meters

If you notice that your different power meters produce different power numbers, you can apply individual offsets per power meter to compensate for this. For example if your power meter is consistently reading 10% higher you can account for this by setting an appropriate zero offset. To do this navigate to “My account” in the drop down below your name in the top right corner of the screen and then select the “power” tab.

Improved advanced file search

Even more fields have been added to the advanced file search to allow for more defined searches.
