This article will outline the steps to setup connections with third party platforms that can sync your wellness data to Today’s Plan. This can include a variety of information such as weight, sleep data, resting HR, HRV, etc. There are a range of platforms which your Today’s Plan account can link into to pull this data, these currently include:
- Garmin Wellness (Garmin Connect)
- Whoop
- Fitbit
- MyFitnessPal (via Under Armour/MapMyFitness)
- Withings
- HRV4Training
- Apple Watch
Displaying wellness data
Before we show you how to setup the connections, lets quickly recap the different places the wellness data can be displayed on the platform. The first is on the Calendar, in both the mobile app and desktop website. This is controlled using the calendar preferences. The calendar preference toggles are shown in the screenshots below, for more information on the calendar preferences on the desktop website please watch our Masterclass video.
Wellness data can also be displayed on a range of Dashboard panels. Below is an example of this displaying various metrics on the Daily Time Series panel.
Garmin Wellness
If you have a Garmin device or Garmin Scales that record your sleep, weight or other wellness data, that data is stored in your Garmin Connect account. To sync that with your Today’s Plan account you need to establish a separate connection to the regular Garmin Connect link, this is called Garmin Wellness. To do that, go to your Today’s Plan account > Account > Connections > Incoming > Wellness (powered by Garmin) > follow the prompts to login with your Garmin Connect details.
Whoop
You can link your Whoop account to Today’s Plan to sync across your wellness data. To do this, log into your Today’s Plan account > Click your name in the top right > account > connections > under “outgoing” click the “connect” button next to Whoop > enter your Whoop login details > GRANT.
This will bring in your past Whoop data from the last 90 days and future data will be uploaded daily. This includes:
- Resting heart rate
- Heart rate variability
- Sleep
- Recovery score and more…
FitBit
If you use a FitBit device that records your sleep, weight or other wellness data, that is all stored in your FitBit account. To sync that with your Today’s Plan account go to your Today’s Plan account > Account > Connections > Incoming > FitBit > follow the prompts to login with your FitBit account.
MyFitnessPal
If you record your weight or other wellness data on MyFitnessPal that can be synced into your Today’s Plan account using the Under Armour connection. The data needs to go from MyFitnessPal into MayMyFitness and is then carried over into Today’s Plan. The first step is to connect your MyFitnessPal account to MapMyFitness. To do that, login to MapMyFitness > Hover over account icon in the top right > Connected Apps > Click the MyFitnessPal logo and follow the prompts to authorise your account.
Then setup the link between Under Armour (MapMyFitness) and Today’s Plan. To do that, go to your Today’s Plan account > Account > Connections > Incoming > Under Armour > follow the prompts to login with your Under Armour account (this is the same login you use for MapMyFitness).

If you use a Withings scale you can get your weight and body composition data synced into your Today’s Plan account. This is done through by going from MyFitnessPal >MapMyFitness > Today’s Plan. Firstly, connect your scales to MyFitnessPal using the instructions found here. Then the data needs to go from MyFitnessPal into MayMyFitness. The first step is to connected your MyFitnessPal account to MapMyFitness. To do that, login to MapMyFitness > Click Import Workout > Scroll down to All accounts and devices > Click the MyFitnessPal logo and follow the prompts to authorise your account. You can manually push data from any past day from the History page in the HRV4Training app, by tapping the measurement bar and selecting “Push to Today’s Plan”.

More info
We are continually looking to add to our list of connected third party systems. Today’s Plan has an API that allows third party services to link in and set up these connections, but it requires development work from the third party. If you have a platform that you would like to link in which is not currently supported we suggest you contact their support team and let them know you would like to be able to sync with Today’s Plan. We are able to provide the necessary documentation to get third party services linked into our API.
