Mobile App update – Part 1

Over the next 2-3 months the Today’s Plan mobile app will have a series of updates to add more functionality for all users. The first of those updates is now available for download on iOS and Android. The app now has a highly requested feature for coaches allowing them to schedule unstructured workouts to their athletes calendars. The main updates in this release are:

  • Ability for coaches and athletes to add unstructured workouts on calendar
  • Time in cadence zone graphs 
  • Name search in athlete picker
  • Indoor activity analysis graphs now use duration as x-axis

Keep an eye on our social media channels for regular updates and details on what is included in each update when they go live.

Adding unstructured workouts

Users can now add unstructured workouts by going to a day on the Calendar > pressing the options icon in the bottom right > Add unstructured workout. Coaches can add workouts to an athletes calendar by selecting to view the athletes calendar (press icon in top left > Athletes > Select an athlete) then pressing the add unstructured workout button on a day.

Time in cadence zones

A recent update to the Today’s Plan website included time in cadence zone breakdowns for cycling activities. This data is now available in the mobile app by opening a cycling activity and pressing to the zones tab at the bottom.
