FORM Swim Goggles

Today’s Plan is excited to announce a connection with FORM. This means that users with FORM Smart Swim Goggles can now set up an automatic sync to have their swim activities auto upload to their Today’s Plan account. The FORM goggles measure and display real-time performance metrics like split times, distance, pace, and more—intelligently, as you swim. The see-through smart display is built right into the goggles lens, delivering metrics without obstructing your vision.

How do I connect?

To set up the connection with FORM, open the FORM Swim App for iOS or Android > Press the account icon in the bottom right > Press the settings icon in the top right > External Services > Today’s Plan and authorise your Today’s Plan account.

Any swims you complete in the future will then automatically upload to Today’s Plan for analysis, including open water and pool swims.

Today’s Plan can display and analyse the following metrics recorded by the FORM goggles:

  • Pace and time per lap, both in graph and chart form
  • Best lap, best intervals highlighted
  • Total time, distance and rest time
  • Stroke style, stroke rate, stroke length, stroke count
  • Calories burned
  • Heart rate analysis (if using a compatible HR device)

Open water swims have mapped GPS data displayed as well as the full swim analysis graph to play a range of the metrics above.

FORM Analytics

Analytics from a swim workout, (stroke type, duration, pace/100m, stroke count, and stroke rate), delineated by interval.

About FORM

Founded in 2016 in Vancouver, Canada, FORM is a sports technology company with a simple mission: to break down the barriers between what swimming is and what it could be. The company’s founder and CEO, Dan Eisenhardt, swam competitively for 14 years before starting his career as a sports technology entrepreneur. His previous company, Recon Instruments, was founded in 2008, introduced the world’s first smart eyewear for sports in 2010, and was acquired by Intel Corporation in 2015. At FORM, Dan is joined by a team of industry veterans with decades of combined expertise in sports-eyewear design, activity-tracking algorithms, and augmented-reality optics.
