FitnessSyncer is a third party service that acts as a bridge to sync data to Today’s Plan. This is used when there is no direct sync between Today’s Plan and a third party, such as Coros and TrainerRoad.

Please note: this is a work-around controlled by a third party service, we can’t guarantee the stability or accuracy of data being passed across.

There is a free and paid version of FitnessSyncer. The free mode is sufficient for most users, but only auto-syncs once per day (you can manually force a sync at any time). With the paid version ($4USD per month) you can set the service to sync automatically when an activity is completed. See this link for details on that: https://www.fitnesssyncer.com/go-pro

4. Optional: If your device doesn’t have a connection to FitnessSyncer

If your device doesn’t sync with FitnessSyncer directly (e.g. TrainerRoad), you can use Strava as a passthrough. Firstly, set up the connection between your device and Strava following the manufacturers steps. Then you’ll need to set up an incoming sync from Strava to FitnessSyncer. Do that following the steps above, selecting Strava as the “Source”. This will mean your next completed training session will upload from your device to Strava > Strava into FitnessSyncer > FitnessSyncer into Today’s Plan.

5. Complete training and push the refresh button!

The next time you complete a training session, go to https://www.fitnesssyncer.com/account and click the refresh button on the Activity source to pull in your training to FitnessSyncer. Then press the refresh button on the Today’s Plan “Destination Tasks” to sync it over to Today’s Plan!

Wellness (Oura Ring, Google Fit, etc)

FitnessSyncer can also sync wellness data to Today’s Plan. This is done as separate tasks for various metrics such as sleep, body composition, nutrition, etc.

This is setup following similar steps to the activity sync above. Here is a brief outline of the steps:

  1. Setup the outgoing “Destination Task” sync to Today’s Plan for your desired metric (sleep, body composition, nutrition). These need to be set up separately if you want more than one.
  2. Setup the incoming “Source” to pull in wellness data from your desired third party. These also need to be set up separately for each metric.
  3. As explained above, press the refresh button on the incoming source, then refresh the outgoing task to push the data to Today’s Plan.
